Gramma's famous gingersnap cookies; pure deliciousness
Gramma’s Gingersnaps
Ingredients
- 2 Cups flour
- 1 Cup sugar
- 3/4 Cup butter (1 1/2 sticks)
- 1/4 Cup molasses
- 1 egg
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp cloves
- 1/2 tsp ginger
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp salt
Steps
- Preheat oven to 375F.
- Mix all ingredients together.
- Refrigerate (to make it easier to roll into balls).
- Roll into balls and roll the balls in sugar.
- Place on baking sheet and bake for 11 minutes.
Gramma always had homemade cookies lying around. These gingersnaps were some of her most famous. You may not have had the privilege of knowing her before her dementia set in, but when you taste these, you will be taken directly to her kitchen with her. I hope you enjoy them as much as all the people over the years have.
You can be forgiven and made right with God. He loves you and gave Himself for you.
