Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon minced fresh rosemary or 1/4 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 cup butter

Steps

  1. Cook your pork or chicken. I cook pork in a lightly greased pan on high heat. Once pan is very hot, place the pork chops in the pan. Around the chops you can place some sprigs of thyme and some lightly crushed garlic for extra flavor. Of course, season your chops generously with salt and pepper. I cook chops for around 2-3 minutes on each side and baste with butter towards the end of cooking.
  2. Use the same pan and deglaze pan with the balsamic vinegar.
  3. Add honey, onions, garlic, rosemary, salt and pepper to pan and mix all together.
  4. Bring to boil.
  5. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 6-8 minutes or until slightly thickened, stirring occasionally.
  6. Remove from the heat; whisk in butter until melted.
  7. Drizzle or coat your meat with the glaze and enjoy!
