Mango Slaw

Ingredients

    For the Slaw:
  • 2 cups chopped slaw (cabbage, red cabbage, carrots)
  • 1 cup mango, chopped
  • 3 scallions
  • 1/3 cup cilantro
  • ¼ cup finely diced red onion
  • For the Dressing:
  • 1 tbsp ginger, finely chopped
  • 3 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp white ground pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1 orange, zest of whole and juice of 1/3
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • ¼ tsp crushed red pepper, only if you want heat

Steps

  1. Mix together the slaw, mango, scallions, cilantro, and onion in large bowl.
  2. Mix together the dressing ingredients in small bowl.
  3. Let the dressing mixture sit for at least 30 minutes to let flavors marry.
  4. Mix everything together shortly before serving.
  5. Enjoy!
